My wife Donna and I came to Ithaca in 1983, and moved into an apartment on West State. As luck would have it, right across from the Immaculate Conception Church and so began our relationship with the church. As four children came along, we became very involved in the school, we made lifelong friends with the families from the school, and I found myself becoming more active in serving our parish. I am in awe of the people in our parish who give so much of their time, talent and treasure. Such good, generous and compassionate people. This has always been the strength of our parish community, and now we have such a beautifully renovated church that will continue to serve as our spiritual gathering place generations to come.
