To be a community of God’s love and service.
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church celebrates the Eucharist and proclaims the gospel—in worship through our love of God and for each other and with our ministry to the marginalized. We journey together in our faith, united by our trust in Christ’s love and mercy and the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Immaculate Conception Parish Mission, 2018
God our Father, we thank you for bringing us together as pastoral council members of Immaculate Conception parish. We are honored and privileged to share in the saving mission of your Son as leaders in our church. We humbly ask you Lord, to send your Holy Spirit to Guide us in our discussion and deepen our understanding of the Mission of the Church and of your love for us.
Grant us the grace, to always listen to the needs and concerns of our community, so we can better discern your will, and to courageously communicate a clear vision. Inspire our parish to grow in faith, love and charity.
We ask special blessings upon our young people and their families. Help us with your grace and wisdom to understand spiritual needs of our youth and ways and means to nurture their faith. Guide and protect our youth in your love.
Inspire generosity in our hearts Lord, so that we may use our talents, and never lack the necessary material and financial resources to meet the needs of our faith community. With the powerful intercession of Immaculate Mary, may we become a community of God’s love and service.
We make our prayer through your Son, our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever.
Amen
